一.說古代的一種恐龍時不時skim feeder，跟black skimmer(一種鳥)比較
1他們都用strong beak. 但因為經常插水，beak容易壞但那鳥能regrow its beak 但那恐龍不行
2那恐龍的肌肉不能讓他保持straight when toward to water 非常危險
3這個過程很耗energy，恐龍太大隻，不划算，他可以同吃屍體來避開predator 而且耗能少
二ing 說Phoenician 早在哥倫布發現美洲大陸之前已經來到過美洲。然後說Phoenician是當時唯一和Egyptian有交往的國家，Egyptian和他們通商。
接下來，論據有三：
1，在Egyptian木乃伊中發現了nicotine, 而當時Egypt並沒有能夠產出nicotine
的tobacco樹，而美洲生產這種樹。
2，Phoenician的某種coin?還是什麼東西上面有美洲大陸的地形圖，說明這個
地方也在他們的通商範圍內。3，美洲的pyramid和Egypt的pyramid很相似，
是通過Phoenician的橋樑，受到了Egypt影響。
教授反駁：
1，分兩點，第一點，考古發現在美洲文明以前很早就有含有nicotine的mummy了。第二點，nicotine不僅僅來自於tobacco，還有很多植物含有nicotine。
2，圖案太小，不能確定就是美洲地形圖，可能只是一種裝飾設計。
3，pyramid並不相像。說了兩個區別：美國的有steps和flat roof，埃及的是
straight smooth sides that end at a point(比較確定是原文)。美國的是用來religious activities, 埃及的只是tomb。這裡我確定是tomb.
三 reasons why Mayan Civilization collapsed in 800-900 centuries.
Reading：
1. 因為the extreme drought.
2. Plentiful evidences showed a number of dry years in 800-900 centuries. 如

3. 這樣因為drought而滅亡的文明不在少數。比如也是美國這塊地方有個叫A的文明。
1. 這不是瑪雅人第一次遭受到drought了。以前他們都沒滅亡，為什麼非在這次滅亡?這些Evidences 可能是更早的drought時留下的，不能說明什麼問題。
2. The end of Mayan writings是因為為了組建一個強大的army，把會寫的'人弄去參加戰爭了。
3. Mayan Civilization的儲水系統比A的sophisticated得多。所以哪怕是A因drought滅亡也不能說明Maya也是。
四. Reading：講亞馬遜森裡應該住人很少：
1.土地貧瘠且因為含有Al有毒使得部分有益微生物細菌不能生存
2.考古人員沒發現他們居住的房子的遺蹟
3.人生存需要營養，而很多營養需要來源於哺乳動物比如牛羊，而亞馬遜沒牛羊，因此人類不好活。
教授：1.雖然貧瘠，但是部分地區有肥沃的黑土，其實這些黑土是居住人自己弄得：通過把ashes of burden wood丟到土裡讓土肥沃，因為有招讓土肥沃因此能種足夠土地因此可能人很多。
2.他們房子不是石結構，而是木結構。木結構在雨林容易decompose。但是依然發現了有道路，溝渠等大量人類居住的標記證明有很多人居住。
3. 雖然沒牛羊，但是有些植物比如peachpalm(音)含有蛋白質，因此可以通過吃這玩意來獲得蛋白質。
