expensive an education is, the better it is. So parents will spend an unreasonable amount of money on education. Most parents fail to realize though,what children lack today is self-respect and problem is that parents are only educating their children on how to take multiple choice tests and study well instead of the most important skills of being confident, happy and clever. Parents can achieve this by teaching practical skills like cooking, sewing and other ing will improve many skills children need later in life. Though demanding patience and time, it is an enjoyable experience. He may spend hours looking at them, trying to fix them. These activities are not merely teaching a child to read a book, but rather to think, to use his mind. And that is more important.

中國人在教育孩子方面非常慷慨。父母們常常不吝惜金錢，把孩子送到最好的學校，甚至國外去學習。他們覺得越貴的教育越好。所以家長常常不惜重金投入教育。甚至貧困的父母都會為孩子購買電腦。但是，最好的早期教育通常並不昂貴。孩子們的能力各不相同。但是很多家長卻沒意識到： 現在孩子們真正缺乏的`是自尊、自信。問題是，父母只知道教孩子怎麼做選擇題，怎麼學習好，而忽略了最重要的是如何教育他們成為自信、快樂、聰明的人。要達到這一目標，家長可以教給孩子像烹調，縫紉和一些其他家務勞動等實用技能。烹飪可以幫助孩子提高很多能力，而這些技能在他們以後生活中是十分必要的。雖然做飯對耐性、時間都有要求，但它也是一種愉快的體驗。一個好的廚師總是試圖提高廚藝，所以他會努力工作，從而逐步成功地完成他的工作。他的勞動成果，一頓豐盛的飯菜，會給他很大的滿足感和自信。孩子玩耍的壞收音機或電視機等一些舊電器會引起孩子的好奇，激發他的興趣。他可能一連幾小時琢磨或修理這些電器。這些活動不僅僅教會孩子讀書，還能教會他們如何思考，如何用腦。這才是更重要的。

Most children used to start attending school at their six or seven years old while nowadays more and more children in cities start attending school from a young age. Concerning this phenomenon, some people hold that it is good for children’s development to attend school in an earlier age while others entertain opposite opposition. From my point of view, I am inclined to support the former one. The reasons are as following.

First, to attend school from a young age provides a better environment for children to grow up healthier, especially those children in cities. With the need of work, many parents in cities cannot spend a lot of time with their children and that will influence children developing healthy. In contrary, if children have a chance to attend school at their earlier age, they will get more chance to play with their fellows, which is good for them to have an unforgettable childhood.

Second, it is helpful for children to independent from their parents. If children attend school from a young age, they will be taught to deal with their own things at an earlier age and learn to be independent.

Finally, to attend school from young age, children have more chance to meet with different people and encounter various situations, which has a contribution to their adaptation to society and their practice of strain capacity.

Therefore, I advocate that children should attend school from a young age. However, parents also need to spend more time with their children at the same time so that they can have more chance to communicate with each other.

過去大多數小孩都是在六歲或七歲就開始上學，但如今越來越多城市裡的小孩在還很小的時候就開始上學。對於這個現象，有些人認為小孩子早點上學有利於他們的發展，但也有人持相反看法。在我看來，我傾向於支援前者。理由如下。

首先，早教為小孩，尤其是為城市裡的小孩，提供了能讓他們更加健康地成長的環境。由於工作的需要，城市裡很多父母沒法花費太多的時間來陪他們的孩子，這會 影響孩子的健康成長。相反，如果小孩在還很小的時候就有機會上學，那他們就有機會和他們的同伴玩，這有利於他們留下一個難忘的童年。

第二，早教也有助於小孩獨立於父母。如果小孩接受早教，他們在很小的時候就會被教會處理自己的事情，學會獨立。

最後，早教使得小孩擁有更多的機會遇見不同的人，不同的場合，這對於他們適應社會，鍛鍊他們的適應能力是有幫助的。

因此，我提倡小孩子應該接受早教。但是，同時父母也應該花更多的時間陪伴小孩，這樣父母和子女之間才有更多的機會互相交流溝通。
