When holiday comes, thousands of people pour into the tourist sites, they want to relax themselves and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Summer Holiday Plan

Many classmates ask me about my plan for summer holiday. How I wish I could have a colorful and fruitful holiday, so I have decided to do a part-time job during the summer vacation. On the one hand, I can earn some pocket money by doing a part-time job. I can spend them freely, because they are earned by myself. On the other hand, I can accumulate some practical experience by doing a part-time job. They can’t be learned in the class or from text books. Besides, I will go over my study and do some preview. Tourism has developed by leaps and bounds in the past decades in the whole world. Therefore, the issue of whether the tourism will bring harm to the environment is becoming a matter of concern. As for me, I hold that the tourism does more harm than good to the world.

In the first place, the more places we travel to , the more pressure will be added to the environment. Take Dunhuang as an example, the greatest scourge these days comes from the tourists who swarm here by the busload , bring destructive amounts of carbon dioxide and moisture into the caves along with their eagerness for a glimpse of ages past .

Secondly, It has become fashionable for travelers to drive a private car to the place they want to . In this case ,a large number of cars are mushroomed in the road and it cause twice as much as air pollution this speed ,we may live in a world which is full of dirty air instead of fresh air.

In sum , although tourism is playing an indispensable role in the society , I still believe that we`d better try to limit its speed according to the harm that brings to the environment.

A Trip to Beijing

My American friend Tom and I went to Beijing by plane last summer.

On the first day，we visited the Palace Museum and Tian'anmen Square. The next day，we climbed the Great Wall. We took lots of photos. Although we felt tired，it was a fantastic experience. The third day we relaxed. Then we had the Beijing roast duck for lunch. I think it is the most delicious food in the world. Tom is interested in Chinese culture，so we drank tea and saw Beijing Opera in Lao She Teahouse in the evening. Finally，we did some shopping and flew back to Guilin.

The trip to Beijing was short，but it was wonderful. Tom said that he would never forget it.

北京三日遊 A Three-day Tour to Beijing

Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. It is my first time to visit Beijing, which is always the dream city for all the Chinese. All the information about the city came from the books and TV, now I could see and get know of it by myself, how excited I am!

上個月我去北京看望我的一個朋友，因為我們有將近兩年沒見，而我剛好有假期。這是我第一次遊覽北京，這座全中國人都向往的城市。我對北京的所以認知都來自電視和書本，而現在我有機會親自來看這個城市、來了解她。我多麼地興奮！

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. On Holiday Travel

For most people, they will choose to travel during holiday because they want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work. However, it happens quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel. Some people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many people there. Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots. In my point of view, I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel. Reasons are listed below.

Firstly, during holiday, so many people swarm into the travel spots that we can't enjoy ourselves to the full. For most people, they want to travel because during holiday, they can have several days to relieve themselves by traveling. However, so many people crowd together will make their tour lose the original fun.

第一，在假期期間，太多的人聚集在旅遊景點，我們不能玩的很進行。對於很多人來說，他們想要在假期旅遊因為他們在假期的時候才有幾天的時間來放鬆自己。但是，太多的人擁擠在一起，就會失去旅遊的本身的樂趣。

Secondly, during holiday, price will be rising drastically. It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods' price during this holiday to get fat profits.

第二，在假期期間，物價會大幅上漲。眾所周知，你需要支付更多的錢來買東西或坐車或者乘坐其他的交通工具，因為很多的商家會在此期間通過抬高物價來獲取豐厚的利潤。

All in all, travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money.

總之， 在假期旅遊並不是一個好的選擇。不僅是因為在旅遊的時候穿梭於人群中會很不方便，而且也因為假期期間的物價及交通費用會飛漲而讓我們多支付額外費用。

In recent years, tourism has developed rapidly in China. Many people believe that tourism produce positive effects on economic growth and we should try our best to promote tourism. But what these people fail to see is that tourism may bring about a disastrous impact on our environment. As for me, I'm firmly convinced that too much tourists bring harm to the environment.

The bad impact of tourism on the environment has mainly expressed itself in various ways. One way is the proceof exploiting a new scenic spot. Some tourists don't have the awareneto protect the environment, and ignorantly throw their garbage here and there. Some people even kill the local wildlife to eat, which badly damages the balance of the natural environment.

It is wrong to sacrifice the environment for the growth of tourism. We must keep in mind that too much tourists bring harm to the environment. We need to find a balance between satisfying the needs of tourists and reducing to a minimum the pollution they cause.

Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of "sustainable development", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.

What' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousneof the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.

青島是一座美麗的海濱城市，三面環海，一面接陸，巍峨的嶗山傍海屹立，風光秀麗，氣候宜人。“紅瓦綠樹，碧海藍天”輝映出青島特有的美麗身姿，具有典型歐式風光的建築，形成了中西合璧，歐亞風情的特色。赤礁、細浪、彩帆、金色沙灘構成青島美麗的風景線。

隨後，我們來到素有“海上名山第一”之稱的嶗山，它位於黃海之濱。主峰海拔1133米。我們一家人，一邊爬山一邊欣賞這美麗的景色。看嶗山的險峰異石，山海奇觀。我們來到嶗山規模最大的道場——太清宮。宮裡有上百年樹齡的銀杏、松柏等樹木。宮舍150餘間，分別為三個獨立主院。院子的屋頂藍瓦金簷，在陽光照耀下顯得金碧輝煌。四周的牆壁鑲嵌著許多精美的圖案，顯現出古代勞動人民精湛的技藝和無窮的智慧。
