(1) 堅守工作崗位，嚴格執行鍋爐房的各項規章制度、精心操作，確保鍋爐的安全執行。上崗人員應該對鍋爐的結構、效能和操作方法有深刻的瞭解並持司爐操作證，才能進行獨立操作。

(2)當班人員要嚴格遵守勞動紀律，不遲到、不早退、不做與工作無關的事，不得擅自離開工作崗位、不得違章操作。

(3)在工作時間內，司爐工應集中思想，注意儀表，負責進行起火、停爐、換水等操作，隨時注意控制檯工作儀表變化，監視壓力錶、水位表，觀察鍋爐執行情況。出現問題及時報告處理，對安全器械保護裝置，煤鬥、大小孔門、吸灰器及各擋板位置，認真進行檢查及維護鍋爐的保養工作。

(4)經常檢查崗位職責內的各項工作，及時發現問題，及時彙報並處理問題；重點注意鍋爐的'執行情況,以及熱水的供給。
